Washoe County: The election epicenter where old and new Nevada collide

Reno is a city of ranchers and rodeos. Now it has downtown lofts and wine bars too. More than 75,000 new residents moved into Washoe County since July 2000 - three times the number of votes that separated the presidential candidates in Nevada during the last two elections. The influx of voters means that Nevada's "biggest little city" is an electoral force that can't be ignored.
