According to an LAUSD School Board resolution over 16,000 African-American students have been suspended in 2007. That’s more than 20% of their population. They’ve passed a resolution giving them 90 days to find solutions to this and other equality issues. Ms. Montgomary worked on the resolution, and she spoke with Getting Your Reps In’s Sam Farber.
