Mercy for Animals held a news conference at the Westin Bonaventure to reveal undercover footage taken at a California egg farm and urge Californians to vote yes on Proposition 2.  The Proposition would prohibit the confinement of farm animals in a manner that does not allow them to turn around freely, lie down, stand up, and fully extend their limbs.  Those who support the Proposition say it is simply inhumane to confine animals in such a way.  Those who oppose it say consumers will pay difference, both in price and food safety.
