Help! I can't hear or see anything!
Technical Troubles?
If you're having trouble hearing our live webcast or stories, or viewing our slideshows, please make sure your computer meets the following technical requirements. Remember, live webcasts only take place Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00pm-4:20pm while we are in operation. If you click on our "Listen Live" button at any other time, you will hear a looped, pre-recorded message informing you when you can hear our live newscast. We generally do not produce live newscasts during summer sessions, Thanksgiving break, winter break, spring break, finals, or during the first four weeks of each semester.
WINDOWS USERS
Adobe Flash Player is required to view our slideshows and see our stories' play buttons.
Windows Media Player is required to hear our live webcasts.
MAC USERS
Adobe Flash Player is required to view our slideshows and see our stories' play buttons.
Windows Media Player 9 is required to hear our live webcasts.
Please note that Flip4Mac is NOT compatible with our live webcasting functions at this time. If you are a Mac user with Flip4Mac installed and you wish to hear our live webcast, you must please uninstall Flip4Mac and use Windows Media Player 9 to play Windows Media Audio on your computer.
iPHONE USERS
iPhone users are able to play audio on our site, but will NOT be able to see Flash play buttons or slideshows or listen to the live ARN webcast. To play audio that is posted on our site, simply press the title of each story to see the full story page and then press the title again to hear the story's audio file. This also works in our "Live Show Archive" section (therefore it is possible to hear our newscast via iPhone after it has been posted to the site, but you cannot hear it as it is webcasted live).
You may wish to view and subscribe to our RSS feeds and podcasts for the easiest method to access our stories, audio, and podcasts on your iPhone.
