The so-called "Subway to the Sea" is inching its way to the coast. The MTA Board of Directors recently approved a plan to expand the Westside Metro Subway by nine miles. With Mayor Villaraigosa and the MTA fast-tracking the expansion, nearby neighborhoods are left to weigh the pros and cons of such a major project.
